About Bissap Breeze

Born in New Orleans and inspired by the African diaspora, Bissap Breeze was created by local artist and multi-generational New Orleans native Brotha T. Through his international connections, he recognized how the bissap—hibiscus—flower has traveled across cultures, carrying traditions of refreshment, wellness, and community wherever it goes.

Bissap Breeze began with a simple intention: to create flavorful, ready-to-drink beverages that nourish the body while strengthening connections between people, artists, and communities around the world.

The “Breeze” represents the way stories, culture, information, and energy travel from one community to another. Just as the bissap flower has journeyed from Africa throughout the diaspora, the breeze carries the news, the knowledge, and what’s goin’ on—keeping us connected across borders.

In 2024, Bissap Breeze expanded its collection with even more vibrant flavors:

Cashew Fruit Nectar · Guava Nectar · Hibiscus Ginger · Hibiscus Mint · Mango Nectar · Mango Carrot Nectar · Mango Papaya Nectar · Mango Passion Nectar · Pineapple Ginger Nectar · Soursop Nectar · Strawberry Banana Nectar · Watermelon Lemonade

Refresh your body. Refresh your mind. Refresh your community.
